Northern Cross 

Northern Cross was a bespoke design‑and‑build project delivering the largest nursing home in Ireland for our elderly care platform, Care Choice. We designed a 200‑bed facility from the ground up to represent the next generation of care homes. This was the first project completed within a portfolio of 1,800 beds, and the platform was subsequently sold to the French infrastructure fund Infravia

Care Choice

In this scenario, we acquired an operational platform in the elderly care sector and subsequently acquired sites for over 1,800 beds in Dublin. We then designed and delivered the first of a new‑concept building for elderly domiciliary care before exiting to the French infrastructure fund Infravia

Mark also led the acquisition of the key initial pipeline sites. The business raised an initial €450m on flotation on the London Stock Exchange in 2015 and now has a market cap of €1.9bn
